Don't miss this weekend! We'll be partying down in the CLC and Youth Room. In addition to watching the game on a giant screen, we will be stuffing our faces with food, playing volleyball, basketball, skating, shooting pool, and giving away prizes.

To come you must only bring one of the following: a bag of chips, cookies, bottle of drink, or some other football type snack food.

Anyone is invited, so feel free to bring your friends or family..

The party starts at 4:30, and goes until the game is over. Feel free to paint up, or do whatever to show your support for your team.

Be sure and join the Official Facebook Huddle Group so you wont miss out on all the latest and greatest news and events going on in Huddle. If you are a Huddle age youth that attends at Advent Arlington, be sure and also join A.C.T.S. a group for Huddle youth in Arlington.

Huddle starts at 4:30PM on Sundays at the Advent Cordova campus, includes dinner, and runs through 7:15PM. From 7:15PM-8:00PM the gym and youth room is open for basketball or hanging out if you're not ready to go home. The cost for Huddle each week is only $5 ($55 for the Fall 2011 Semester). This fee merely goes to cover our cost for the wonderful meals provided. Remember, if it is your first time to Huddle, or you want to invite a friend, their first time is always free! Also, if $5 a week would keep you from coming, just see Dan Eubanks privately, and we'll see what we can do to take care of it. God want's you here, and so do we!

Youth Club Teams - Be a part of the Youth Band, Drama Team, Tech Team, Video Team, Art Team, Youth Choir or Puppets on Wednesday's from 5:00-6:00 PM. (Band, Drama, Tech, Puppets, and Art from 5-5:40PM, Chilaxin and Youth Choir from 5:40-6PM).

Wednesday Night Alive - Dinner starts at 6 PM, Study 6:30-7:30 PM. Junior (7th-8th Grade) and Senior High (9th-12th Grade) are seperate.

Huddle - Arrive at Huddle on Sundays at 4:30 PM, in the Christian Life Center at Advent Cordova Campus. Group and Dinner is over at 7:30 PM, gym open until 8 PM. Official Facebook Huddle Group

After Church Third Sunday (A. C. T.S.) - Outing for Huddle Youth (Grades 7th-12th) that attend Advent Arlington Church. Group meets after Sunday Services for lunch, fun outing (i.e. putt-putt, lazertag, movie, etc.) and then heads on to Huddle at the Advent Cordova campus from 4-7:30 PM. A.C.T.S. Facebook Group

Huddle Welcomes David Eubanks As It's Newest Addition To The Youth Department's Staff!

David Eubanks, brother to Dan Eubanks, has recently been hired as an additional youth pastor for Advent's youth group!

Many of you already know David from past NaCoMe's, summer trips, and Awakenings. David served as Advent's youth director from 1998-2005, and Highland Heights youth director from 2009-2011.

All of us are so excited about his addition as part of the New Huddle, and look forward to this next year with him on the team!

Youth Missions Completed So Far In 2010-2011 School Year Navajo Mission Trip - July 2010 Huddle's Senior High Group (52 Strong) headed to Lybrook, New Mexico for a week of construction, repairs to the mission, and to bring a message of hope and God's love through music, drama, and puppets to three different Navajo congregations. Operation Christmas Child - November 2010 Huddle, along with donations from members of Advent put together 170 Christmas boxes for under priveledge youth around the world. SoupBowl Sunday - February 2011 Huddle collected over $1000 in change to go towards MIFA and the Presbyterian Soup Kitchen on Superbowl Sunday. Grace For The City - March 2011 Huddle went door to door in Cordova and raised over 1000 lbs of food for the Memphis Food Bank, then went and sorted pallets of cans for the afternoon. Prom Dresses For Memphis - March 2011 Advent's Senior High Sunday School Class collected Prom Dresses to help those at Northside High School who wou Happy Sacks - April 2011 (ongoing) Advent's Senior High Sunday School Class is collecting funds and supplies to make care packages (to be kept in one's car) to hand out to homeless when encountered. Soles4Souls - April 2011 (ongoing) Huddle's 9th grade class is collecting shoes for Soles4Souls, a non-profit who delivers shoes to countries where shoes would be otherwise unaffordable.
